Accommodation
Participants are expected to arrange their own accommodation. The Conference Organizers assume that most participants will wish to stay at the Esplanade Hotel.
Esplanade Hotel
A block booking has been made at the Esplanade Hotel, Essex St, Fremantle, where most participants will be staying. This 4½ star hotel is in the heart of Fremantle. A special rate of AUD 155 per night per room (single, double or twin share) has been negotiated for ICSC30 participants. All rooms have en suite bath/shower and most have a private balcony.
Breakfast (for AUD 25 to 30) can be purchased at the hotel. Much more economical breakfasts are readily purchased from any of the many nearby cafes.

Other Types of Accommodation
Other types of accommodation (backpacker, self-catering, luxury, bed & breakfast) can be booked through the Fremantle Tourist Bureau. Note, however, that if you want to use the free conference bus (to and from Murdoch University) you must make sure that your accommodation is close to (easy walking distance from) the Esplanade Hotel (see Fremantle map)

Budget Accommodation
For participants looking for cheaper accommodation there are a number of backpacker hostels in the heart of Fremantle. Two convenient hostels are:
• Pirates Backpackers, Essex Street, just 50 m from the Esplanade Hotel. Approximate cost: AUD25/night or AUD150/week (Dormitory); AUD75/night or AUD420/week (Double room).
